9/4/2023 0 Comments Pc hdmi no signal on tv![]() I too remember getting no signal from my Samsung for my PC. Si I bought a Thunderbolt to HDMI cable and connected the devices but TV is just not showing up when I press Detect. The reason I didn’t just switch over to DVI-D after I discovered this issue was mainly because of my desire to find out what went wrong. I have a laptop with Thunderbolt(Mini Display Port) and ofcourse TV has HDMI port. This is what drove me to initially use DisplayPort. Then I brought my PC to a friends place, and its working on his newer TV. But theres still no signal on my TV, therefore I bought a new HDMI line, still not working. Step 3: Scroll to the Multiple displays section and tap the Detect button. Step 2: On the left-hand pane, select Display. I have a personal dislike of DVI cables and the way you have to screw them in. When I sent my PC back to ASUS to check, the servicing person told me he could see the screen without a problem, so they sent it back to me. Monitors 1) switch to display port using the OSD (will give no signal message, followed by sleep mode and black screen) 2) then remove the power cable from. Step 1: Launch the Windows Settings Menu and select System. I wanted to make full use of the 144Hz functionality on the monitors, and to do so I would have to use either DisplayPort or DVI-D. On the left monitor I could see “DisplayPort- No Signal”, and on the right was my usual desktop. Your PC should be completely off when you plug it into the TV, that way when it comes on, it should automatically recognize the new device you are using. Plug the PC into HDMI on the TV, make sure your TV is switched to that specific HDMI input, then turn on the PC. I made sure all the cables were tight, unplugged them and replugged them- sure enough I even turned it off and on again- but to no avail. I have no idea why you are using a phone app to control your PC. They plug directly into an Nvidia GTX 1080. My monitor Is connected using hdmi and its working fine. But the problem is that I can see the post screen and windows is starting but as soon as I had booted it has no signal. My PC set-up consists of two 144Hz monitors connected via DisplayPort cables. Hi I have a gtx 1060 and today i wanted to connect my computer to the tv using a hdmi cable. A bit of background - why use DisplayPort anyway? It was fine the day before, and it hadn’t been touched that day, so what gives? Let me back up a little… (unless you’re too eager and just want to see the solution). I recently faced a hardware issue on my PC at home whereby one of my two monitors seemed to suddenly no longer connect when I booted. DisplayPort no signal: The question “ have you tried turning it off and on again?” gets joked about a lot in computing when someone has a problem, it’s well known that a quick reboot often works a treat.
